    • Plan Metadata: Plan identifiers (slug, title, coach name, price) associated with your interactions
    • Referrer Information: Which page you came from before viewing a plan
    • Session Data: Aggregated information about your browsing session stored temporarily in your browser's local storage
  • Affiliate Link Tracking: When you click external purchase links, we log:
    • Timestamp and date of click
    • Plan identifier and coach name
    • Referrer URL (which page you clicked from)
    • IP address (temporarily, for rate-limiting and fraud prevention only - not stored long-term)
    • User agent (browser and device information)

Privacy-First Design: We do not use advertising cookies, create user accounts, or link your analytics data to your personal identity. All tracking is session-based and anonymous.

Legal Basis (GDPR): We process this data under Article 6(1)(f) - Legitimate Interest. Our legitimate interest is understanding which training plans are most useful to users, improving our recommendations, and measuring the effectiveness of our directory.

5. Data Retention

  • Newsletter Emails: Until you unsubscribe or request deletion
  • Contact Form Data: Retained for 2 years for customer service purposes
  • Analytics Data: Aggregated and anonymized data retained for 2 years
  • Training Plan Interaction Data: Search queries, filter preferences, and click events stored anonymously for 2 years for trend analysis
  • Session Data: Temporary browser storage cleared when you close your browser or after 24 hours
  • Affiliate Click Logs: Server logs with timestamps and IP addresses retained for 90 days, then anonymized click data retained for 1 year for reporting
  • IP Addresses: Not stored long-term. Temporarily logged for rate-limiting (24 hours), then discarded

Email us at hy@functionaltrainings.com with subject "Opt Out of Analytics" and we'll ensure your IP address or session is excluded from tracking.

Important Note:

Opting out of analytics may limit some website functionality, such as personalized plan recommendations. However, all core features will continue to work normally. Our analytics are designed to be privacy-friendly and do not track your personal identity.

7. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
